I’ve made a new blog on some funny stories, check it out: http://diaryofaborderlinealcoholic.tumblr.com/
As the year is about to end, it’s nice to know I’ve been able to accomplish my new years resolutions from last year. Life isn’t supposed to be easy. Rejection comes at every angle and we’re never completely happy with our stance in life. No matter how it seems on the other side, name one person who’s 100% satisfied. I feel so lucky to have such good family and friends. It’s not about the places you go, but who you do it with. This past year, I’ve done things I never thought I would do in a million years like dancing and flirting with guys let alone just talk to them, get over anxiety on driving (i’ve been all over NJ and NY and I feel unstoppable). I’ve been to AC, a memorable experience among other places. While I may not always be completely sane, I’m happy to know the old things that made me never want to leave my bed have no effect on me any longer. I’m determined to fight against the rejections of life and just keep being out there. Life is meant to be for living.
I think the scariest thing about growing up is watching as everyone’s dreams and aspirations are put to the side in favor of reality
It’s been a while. Will be posting again soon. Where has the time gone? It’s almost the end of the year! I’ve been lucky enough to fulfill one of my new years resolutions, which was to take more risks, enjoy life, go on an adventure at least once every month! What were yours and what are some ones you hope to do for the next year? Thanks for following let’s finish this year out right! <3
Once Upon A Time in Wonderland
This was another show I was thinking of watching but not sure about. I saw the pilot the other day and I had mixed thoughts. The environment of Alice in the Wonderland is an interesting one and loved the girl who plays Alice as well as the Knave (I’m pretty sure he played a werewolf from Being Human, the BBC version).
Witches of East End
Recently, while I was doing chores, cooking and watching tv one night, I saw a little of the show “Witches of East End” and it piqued my interest. I may read the books of which it was based off of (has some Nordic mythology which I really would love to read not yet put on the show). The show’s not bad either. I have a thing for Lifetime Television. It’s been releasing some pretty decent shows recently including Devious Maids and continuation of Drop Dead Diva.
I have some issues on the elements that seem typical such as love triangles. Strangely the main one reminds me of Vampire Diaries. I am also hearing comparisons with Charmed. Hope the show maintains its interesting aspects. It seems like a cross between American Horror Story (much more family friendly), Charmed and the movie Practical Magic. Witches seem to be the latest trend this season on tv. Can’t wait to see more! Any Vampire Diaries and Secret Circle fan will love it!
